I'm Gina and I live directly east of Orlando, Florida on the Space Coast in Cocoa Beach. Living on Florida's coastline I often get asked, "What do you do for vacation when you live in a place like Cocoa Beach?" Oh... I don't know, we go to the Bahama's I suppose or down to the Florida Keys snorkling, but they do have a valid point... I feel like I'm in constant vacation living so close to the ocean with so many choices. Let's see... Do I go lay out on the beach today or simply walk and collect some shells? Maybe I'll tag along with Captain Richard on a fishing trip or grab a surfboard and swim in the Atlantic when the waves are up with my daughters.
The photos on this page are memories of my family on the coast near Orlando, Florida. Since a very early age my husband, Captain Richard took my girls down to the beach looking for sand fleas and seashells and we continue today running, walking, laying and swimming in the warm Atlantic waters. Every year, Richard takes us out fishing for tarpon and king mackeral in his boat in the nearshore waters and it's always fun for all of us.
After a good day on the water, we head to the docks where we'll dance to Reggae music at our favorite waterside restaurant and sip on one our favorite tropical drinks coming home sunburnt and ready for a good night's rest for another day of vacation the next morning! LIFE IS GOOD when you vacation in Florida.
